While preparing for e-book launch, I observed that many authors don’t prepare for the inevitable print version.

As you know, printing your book is optional but it can open MANY doors that e-books won’t be able to.

When I launched my e-book, I had some authority figures in my life who were ready to launch with “better money” but didn’t believe that I’d written a book until they saw it in print. So I couldn’t earn my “launch money” until I made a little investment in the printed copies.

Center for Entrepreneurship Development at Covenant University didn’t invite me to facilitate some sessions last session until they saw my printed book!

But should you decide to stay on e-books for now, ensure you mitigate against incuring double cost of layout and design by ensuring your book is designed compatible with print standards as well in layout, dimension, bleed, image resolution and font faces!
